Kingshuk Barman, The Dragon's Head at Rye (April theme: Seascape)

The Dragon's Head rock formation is among the reef at Rye Beach. It is accessible during low to medium tide otherwise the reef is fully covered. When we went there in the morning, I could see only the tip. This picture is shot when the sun is just about to set. So you can see the eastern sky, with not much colour on it. The setting sun rendered the rock face with a very warm colour, which I think adds to the dramatic effect. This picture has long exposure to add drama and silkiness to the waves.
