Rick Bucknall, The Beach (SOFT LIGHT - Entries close 31 May 2026)

In April this year I finally got the classic beach - with palm tree shot. At 5.49 pm the light was perfect and Surfers Paradise was still visible in the distance..the image was just there when I walked out on the balcony of the Palm Beach Surf Club - very exciting! iphone 16 pro. f/1.8, 1/50, 6.76mm. Minimal post editing - increase shadow and contrast
