Skye Auer, Sunset from Mt Taylor Series (Landscape 2021)

From Mt Taylor it feels as if you are afloat on an endless ocean of mountains. The ranges stretch out wide, across the sliver slice of the Snowy River and all the way to the often snow capped Mt Kosciusko. My family often picnics here, but the evening these were taken we took our swags out and smoked up some sausages for dinner, while I photographed the dramatic evening light until it faded to purple and finally black.
