Description: I was watching the sun set at the Thunder Point lookout in Warrnambool. In the distance the sun was causing the ocean spray to light up in a beautiful golden mist. This contrasted with the shadows of the surrounding coastline which created this striking image. The super telephoto lens allowed me to zoom in to highlight the specific coastline and miss the bright yellow spot of the setting sun. Camera: Nikon Z6 Lens: Tamron 150 - 500mm Focal length: 500mm Shutter speed: 1/200 Aperture: f/16 ISO: 100 Tripod: No Brief summary of any software edits: A small crop to frame the image and remove distractions. Lifted the shadows a bit and softened the highlights, added a slight vignette and dehaze. A little bit of manual noise reduction
