A loan catamaran watching the sunrise at Patonga NSW. Details: Whilst photographing sunrise at Patonga, NSW, I was drawn to the solitary catamaran resting on the beach. With the surrounding landscape free of people and distractions, I composed the image to emphasise the boat's silhouette against the vibrant colours of dawn. My aim was to capture the quiet stillness of the moment as night gave way to the first light of day. (iPhone 12, f/16, 1/110sec, ISO-125).
