Craig Grant, Strange Creatures (Animal & Nature 2021)

For each of these animals I was motivated to capture them not just in their natural habitat but in a way that harnessed light in the most effective way that I could manage which is exceedingly difficult when working with wild creatures. I also wanted to highlight their innate natural beauty. When attempting to capture wildlife, it is also quite difficult to create an image that is original which is where I believe I have achieved this in all of these photos. I also have a distinct curiosity in the weird, wonderful and lesser known creatures that inhabit this Earth.
