Christina Stubbs, STORM OVER YAROOMBA (February theme: Great Outdoors)

This was taken on an afternoon in March, 2019, from Pt Arkwright overlooking Yaroomba Beach and Maroochydore. I watched in awe as this amazing cloud developed right over Maroochydore. I took about 50 shots with as long an exposure as I could get without ND filters (none in my bag). Only one of those shots captured a bolt and it was right smack bang in the middle! Canon 5Dmk4, Canon EOS 24-70 @24mm, f/22, 0.3s, 100 ISO. Processed in Lightroom.
