Louise Faulkner, Stillness - reflections on the landscape II (LANDSCAPE 2020)
There is great pleasure to be found in simply 'being still' in the natural environment, in existing without daily-life distractions and focusing on the minutiae. In sitting, listening, watching, waiting for life unfolding. Through time spent in gentle observation there is both a settling and an awakening. These images are part of an ongoing personal project focusing on landscapes near water. “Every day I walk into the world to be dazzled, then to be reflective", Mary Oliver.
