Francis Keogh, Starbright - Mimosa Rocks (June theme: Night light)

Mimosa Rocks is a famous landmark on the New South Wales South Coast. It's not the foreground rock assembly but the monolith near the horizon. The foreground rocks were placed by somebody unknown, but I felt they would provide a dramatic subject with the Milky way rising behind it. (This is the first time I've used the Stellarium app. to shoot the stars and it worked a treat to help locate their position while I was composing the shot). Shooting was tricky due to the low angle, I wish I had a tilting lcd screen! Obviously the foreground rocks have been light painted and I also used focus stacking and varying exposure settings to complete the image.
