Helen Xing, Spikeball at Minamurra (April theme: The beach)

Over the summer, my friends and I holidayed at Minamurra on the South Coast of NSW. As my friends played spikeball, I lay low on the sand to try and catch an action shot against the blue sky. I love the way this photo really captures a sense of movement suspended in time. I also think the blue and yellow tones of the photo convey the sense of water and sand - even though neither of those elements can be seen in the picture!
