Judith Morgan, Solitude (MINIMALISM - Entries close 31 July 2026)

This image was taken near Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand, and makes me remember the sense of isolation I experienced on the journey to see the colony of Australasian Gannets there. It was shot with my Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens at 105mm. Other settings were ISO 100, 1/320s at f/7.1. The image was dehazed and cropped slightly using Lightroom and texture and clarity were reduced. The amazing colours have not been adjusted at all.
