Faye Milligan, Snow Gums of Mt Bogong, Australia (LANDSCAPE 2020)
The Eucalyptus Pauciflora, commonly known as Snow Gum is native to subalpine and lowland habitats in eastern Australia. Many wonderful specimens can be found at Falls Creek in the Mt Bogong region of the Alpine National Park and have outstanding aesthetic significance. Their twisted stems and colourful bark look spectacular in winter when covered with a mantle of snow and figure prominently in paintings and photographic images of Australia.
