Claire Gilham-Martin, Smokey Sunset at the Docks (April theme: Shoot a magazine cover)

A controlled burn cross Perth Western Australia bought on a haze across the sky. I knew this would effect the sunset with some nice pinks, possibly some reds before it went below the horizon. I had my shot set, then I realised the sun woudl sit nicely at some point on top of the ship as it was setting behind it. I thought this is too good to miss, so I changed my shot and quickly changed my lens and settings to get this final image.
