Two days before capturing this image, I found this fragile kitten abandoned in a severe storm, soaked and struggling to survive. Moving past temporary sympathy and stepping into active humanity, I brought it inside. Captured here inside its temporary nesting box, the image explores the theme of "Home" at its most fundamental level: protection from the elements, a space to heal, and the baseline right to exist without fear. A home is a commitment to responsibility, proving that the true measure of a safe space is how safely it shelters those within it.
