Jennifer Owens, Seeking wonder at night, under the glow of a red light (ANIMAL & NATURE 2024)

After becoming obsessed with ghost mushrooms I found myself in the bush at night 2-3 times a week between Jan - May 2024 just spending hours staring at them and taking photos. I also started frequenting a glow worm tunnel and would bring friends in search of awe. I enjoyed that I became a lady of the night, turning on her red light in order to preserve the darkness and not impact the creatures that inhabit it.
