As Greg Du Toit says, "sometimes a photographer just has to be there". On this cool winter morning in the Sabi Sands, my subject emerged briefly from the dense scrub and posed as a child does when getting their photo taken at school; perfectly still in my viewfinder. Then, as quickly as it came, it slinked off back into the bush.
