Karen Morley, Scarister Blue (OCEAN - Entries close 30 Nov 2026)

A heavy squall wasn't enough to stop the pleasure of shooting the waves on Scarister Beach, with the Harris Hills in the background. The post-sunset blue light created a special ambience on the blue water and a slow shutter speed maximised the dreaminess of the breaking waves. Shot on a tripod at 1.6 sec f/11, ISO 100 using an RF 24-105mm F4 lens.
