Andrew Otterspoor, Resting in the Breeze (ENTRIES CLOSED - December theme: Your favourite shot of '25)

I captured this Monarch Butterfly as it rested momentarily on a swaying stalk of grass. Shot on a Canon 750D and mated to a Tamron 18-400mm lens. Settings were ISO 400, f 7.1 at 1/1000 second. No editing has been carried out.
