Richard Vandewalle, Reflection (August theme: Reflections)

We had planned to take this shot at sunrise but the weather was too unpredictable to do the hike in the dark. There was chance of rain or snow. So we did the walk during daylight. In the late morning hours the scene is no less spectacular. The Stellisee (2,537 m) is among the most famous of Zermatt’s lakes. The sight of the Matterhorn reflected on its mirror-like surface is breathtakingly beautiful.
