Elderly gents in military uniforms in remote controlled wheelchairs were part of the Hyper Real exhibition at the NGA in 2017. The exhibition challenged the viewer to think about ‘what is real’. The solitary figure that is in focus in stark contrast to the blurred movement of the other figures.
