Phillip Leahy, Rainbow Lorikeet (ENTRIES CLOSED - December theme: Your favourite shot of '25)

I was trying to photograph the Lorikeets with a bit more of the environment they live in. In this case what attracted me was the late afternoon light in the background and the sense of the light streaming in from above. So I waited until the subject did something i.e flap its wings and took the picture.
