To find peace amongst the modern noise can be a rare and elusive thing. I think that’s what draws people to sunrises; it’s quiet, calm and on a beautiful morning has the ability to emancipate oneself from worry and instil a subconscious optimism. It is, in many ways, a symbol of our search for our quietude. My image was just a chance capture of someone else enjoying that same moment and, I hope, finding their own quietude.
