Steven Genesin, Pylon Light (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

Taken with Olympus OM1 at f/9 for 3.2 sec at ISO 200 at 12mm with Olympus 12-100mm Lens, with filter. Tripod used. Exported into Lightroom for conversion into BW and minor edits. The setting sun over the coast just north of Perth gave me the opportunity to set up a shot with some old pylons. The wind was gusty and I used a filter to expose the shot a bit longer. The shadows produced with the clouds and pylons gave a nice effect with some long shadows.
