Marty Strecker, Pumice on mineral sand (April theme: Detail)

Shoal Point beach above the regular high tide mark, the sand is black due to the mineral in the sand, yet the whole 3km of beach is normal fine beach sand, and then stacked on this black sand are loads of pumice, small granules and large palm sized pieces...one for the bathroom at home !
