Suzanne Tonga, Proboscis Monkeys - Borneo (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)

Native to Borneo, Proboscis Monkeys are incredibly unique Primates and are of course named after the large noses that the males possess. They also have big round bellies due to their diet. They consume a lot of mangrove leaves and unripe fruit. The mangrove leaves are toxic and low in nutrients so the monkeys have a special digestive system to absorb the nutrients and break down the toxins. Incredibly, Proboscis Monkeys have webbed feet and are great swimmers!
