Daniella Cortis, Portraits of Ms Feathers (Animal & Nature 2021)

I have taken a series of portraits of my pet chicken, Ms Feathers. Our hen house is in a shady part of the garden and these images are taken using shafts of afternoon sunlight. The drama of the light matches the personality of Ms Feathers. I had intended to submit images of our other chickens but Ms Feathers is the star and loves to pose for photographs.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
