Sharon Haasbroek, Playing Fetch (ENTRIES CLOSED - January theme: Summer)

I was at an off leash beach hoping to capture some interesting wave shots. There were quite a few families with their dogs on the beach enjoying the beautiful summer weather. I saw 3 dogs all trying to retrieve the ball from the waves. Two of the dogs lost sight of the ball while this one swam out a littler further into the water to retrieve the ball. I captured this shot just as his head came into view. Ball in mouth, he swam to the shore just to repeat the process.
