Mel Noake, Passing Through (ENTRIES CLOSED - MINIMALISM)

I took this photograph while lying in a park beneath the Coolangatta flight path, waiting for the right moment as an aircraft passed overhead. My aim was to create a minimalist image, using the open sky as negative space. Captured on a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with an EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM lens at 20mm. Settings: 1/2000 sec, f/8, ISO 500. Post-processing included basic tonal adjustments, a slight crop for balance.
