Nilmini De Silva, Painters Studio (November theme: Portrait)
I photographed Eva, while working on a collaborative project called Faces, Places, Races: Stories of First Generation Migrants with Hornsby Council. As part of my project, I also got to interview Eva. She told me that “all artwork has some essence of the self, of who we are, what we aspire to be, what we love, what we fear.” I hope that I have captured an essence of Eva in this photograph taken in her studio.
