John Luff, Pacific Baza's Power Line (ANIMAL & NATURE 2023)

This Pacific Baza (Aviceda subcristata) also calls our property home. One of his favourite hunting grounds surrounds the powerline running through two rows of lychee trees. I often think he might be drawing some of his energy from this line which he needs to fend off all his smaller foe.
