Deborah Pearse, Osprey Life (Animal & Nature 2021)

My grandchildren named this Osprey Falkor. We watch him and partner, Queenie and their chicks each year. Many of the big trees Osprey used to nest in are gone so Council have erected several nesting poles along the river. Around the same time each year Falkor brings a constant supply of fish, some really large, to his partner on eggs and then to his partner and chicks. He's incredibly resilient, focused and an expert angler.
