lorise Evison, 'On the wings of light' (February theme: Blue)

This was my first ever attempt at shooting a flying bird. This pelican was high above me in the sunny late afternoon sky in St. Helens, Tasmania. I took this with my Tamron 150-600 lens on my Sony a65 camera. I loved the way the sun fell onto the pelican's wings.
