Josh Tagi, On the Edge (May theme: Travel)

I cannot accurately convey the amount of effort that it took to get up to this point in order to take this photo. In the final sections of this hike you are literally scaling close to vertical sections of the broken rock face to make it to the top. This shot was taken at the apex of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania at the end of the summit trail. I mounted my camera to the tripod (that I had also lugged up the side of the mountain) and set it on a self-timer in order to take this photo (you can see me sitting on the edge of the precipice in the distance!). Despite the effort required to get up here, the views from the top are simply breathtaking and I would definitely do it again.
