Veronica Williams, Oil Field (May theme: Rural life)

Driving in the South Australian outback, I came across this beautiful scene. The blue sky, with its moody clouds hanging above the yellow canola flowers, created a wonderful contrast of colours. I wondered how basic and simple life would have been for the inhabitants of the abandoned house all those years ago.
