Ashley Malden, Nature's Transportation Network (June: Nature's Perfect Geometry)

When I look at this leaf, I can't help but think how it reminds me of a city transportation network. A whole bunch of main arterial roads, and side streets, providing structure and support and allowing the efficient and effective transportation of water, nutrients, and energy to wherever it needs to go. We aren't that different to nature.
