David Bassett, Nankeen Kestrels (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)

A pair of nankeen kestrels successfully raised five chicks in my area some months back and I have selected my images from those taken over a period of couple of weeks. The birds quickly became popular with the local photographers and the chicks being used to people in the vicinity did not seem at all bothered by the attention.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
