Hanne Matthews, My Bipolar (People 2021)

These pictures are self portrait of me living with my Bipolar. My main personality is shown in the 1st picture, my high energy and crazy happy person. Life feels colorful and happy. 2nd mood is my fight with depression, it comes after me being very high, and that puts me in dark hole. Luckily nowadays with my good medication it is not dangerous mood anymore, where I want to hurt myself. My 3rd mood picture shows my contentment, that I get quite often nowadays, it’s more calm and peaceful. It is mixed with my crazy happy mood, they do this dance together sometimes…. My last mood is anger. This is very extreme mood, that I luckily barely get anymore. My husband said, that my eyes even changed and I became different person. But like I said, I don’t get that anymore, thanks to my right medication.
