Brigitte Keen, Mother Tree (February theme: Great Outdoors)

While traveling through the Grampians over Christmas I spotted this tree which had been ravaged by fire. It developed a very small new main trunk growing from the base. I am constantly overwhelmed by how wonderful nature is.
