Shayle Schirmer, Morning Light (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

I was actually photographing a brahminy kite on Scarness Pier when I turned around and saw this beautiful scene with the rays of light hitting K'gari. Whilst I initially thought a wide angle lens would have been better it turned out the zoom lens was perfect. Taken with Canon R7 and RF 100-400mm at 100mm. ISO100 f16 1/160 handheld
