Krys Robinson, Morning glory (August Theme: Weather)
This photo was taken early one morning in the outback Queensland town of Doomadgee. This event happens in and around Burketown in the Gulf of Carpentaria usually between Late August through to about end November. It a spectacular weather phenomenon which cause the clouds to form like a tube cascading across the sky. Amazing to watch. It doesn't for very long, and it's usually in the early hours of the morning so you have to get up early to witness it.
