Kevin Palmer, Misty Paddock (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

One early morning as I looked down into a valley from my campsite high above. In the distance I could see this paddock with its one patch of mist. To attempt to capture an image meant ignoring the thought that you dont use a 500mm lens for landscape images. But using tripod and the self timer, I got the result I hoped for. The next day I survived surgery to remove a tumor. All round it was a good week to be alive.
