Kathy Brown, Missed the fish! (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)

I watched this beautiful Osprey have a totally unlucky morning fishing in the surf one extremely windy morning during heavy swells. The poor bird tried over and over again with no luck and sometimes just managed to keep his head above water. I had a great time trying to capture it handheld from the edge of the headland at Woolgoolga, the wind was so strong it was blowing my lens quite hard and my eyes were watering so much but i was happy to get these few shots amongst others.
