Jinal Govind, Mighty Mount Cook (Landscape 2019)

Earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to visit my favourite place in New Zealand. I had seen Mt Cook during winter, but was intrigues me the most is capturing landscape in different seasons. Luckily, the weather had served us well, however a huge snow fall two nights prior to our arrival had left the mighty Mt Cook with the perfect early winter coat. We were still able to explore the surrounding landscape, without trenching through snow. These are my four favourite shots. I am a mountain lover, so the road leading to the mountain for me is like the mountains are calling me. Exploring the surrounding landscape from glacier lakes and tussocks, whilst having a human in frame is to show our insignificance when surrounded amongst mountains.
