Gary King, Mating on the Edge (ANIMAL & NATURE 2023)

I was focusing on a female Nankeen Kestrel sitting on a ledge above a red rocky coastline when I noticed the male flying in from some distance away. I was pleased to be able to capture him coming into land on the female, the mating process and the satisfied male afterwards. This series, I consider captures very well the beauty of the plumage of both birds.
