Marty Strecker, Mangrove shoots (April theme: Detail)

An afternoon that lead to a super sunset...on the way to the spot I wanted be at, which was a 2km walk along the beach, I noticed these very young shoots of the mangrove in the middle of the beach..so the tide comes in and out over them every day. Also notice the balls of sand? These small and sometimes large, ghost crabs come out when the water recedes and they process this sand, ball it up and spit it out and then repeat.....the whole entire beach is covered..every time...
