Peter Ogden, Make your mark (LANDSCAPE 2020)
West Head Road, the main road that cuts through Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park in Sydney’s north, is the artery upon which bushwalkers, tourists, lovers and NSW parks staff rely. It is also, on some early Sunday mornings, the aftermath of a different kind of recreation. The long, straight and relatively quiet roads are the perfect canvas for people to make their mark. What surprised me was the fact all these tracks were laid on the same night. There mustn’t have been much rubber left on those tyres…
