A large mob of eastern grey kangaroos can be found close to where I work. The area is on the urban fringe and the kangaroos are tolerant of relatively close approach by humans. When the kangaroos are grazing at dawn or dusk I've found it's possible quietly walk in and sit amongst them. The light conditions at these times shows off the subtle colour palette of their pelage.
