Mackerel Sky cloud formation at Whales Tale Inn; taken in 2005 at the Nullarbor Roadhouse, Australia’s oldest continuously licensed inn (Established 1834). Known as Whale’s Tale Tavern these days, it is one of the access points to explore features of the Southern Ocean, never very far away when crossing the Nullarbor by road. This is big sky, big weather, big spaces country. Exhilarating.
