Marty Friedel, Lunar Gold (February theme: Blue)

My first visit to Jawbone Sanctuary was at a decreasing tide with clear skies and gorgeous reflections - and I’m still to process them successfully. With a morning high tide, cloudy skies and a gentle but relentless wind, I ventured back, and the landscape was much more interesting with the incoming water movement off of the bay. The long exposure helped not only capture the sky’s movement, but also created a lunar-like appearance to the foreground. All up I’ve spent about 4 hours here, and have not yet ventured far from the entry point. There’s just so much to see, so you can bet I’ll be back.
