Pat Martin, Lovely weather - for ducks... (ENTRIES CLOSED - August theme: Weather)

...not so much for Nankeen Night Herons. On a cold, wet morning, this male Heron watches the water intently waiting for breakfast, his feathers floofed out against the cold, yellow legs spotted with duckweed from previous dives and the foliage around him sparkling with raindrops.
